“They deserve more, better, we will do our best to make them happy in the future.”
“We have 14 points – we are still on our way to winning trophies. We don’t give up until the end. Of course we were disappointed. Everyone is sad and dejected at this moment.”
“But when you play for Manchester United, if you don’t win the game, you’re definitely disappointed. But we have to hold hands.”
“Every next game is of the utmost importance. Every game is a new challenge and an opportunity to demonstrate quality. We will be responsible. We’ll step up and see what we can do. I am sure we can do more.”
For Manchester United, they face Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League midweek. This was followed by a game against Premier League leaders Liverpool on Sunday.
United fans react after defeat to Leicester
Manchester United fans have taken to social media in the wake of their 4-2 defeat at Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.about:blank
Despite United going 1-0 up through Mason Greenwood, the Foxes fought back to take the lead with goals either side of half time courtesy of Youri Tielemans and Caglar Soyuncu.
United seemed to have rescued a point when Marcus Rashford’s strike made it 2-2. However the Foxes immediately re-took the lead through Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka rounded off a miserable afternoon for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side with a fourth.
The defeat leaves United without a Premier League win in their last three matches. And unsurprisingly their latest defeat has sparked much reaction from the club’s fans on social media.
